“I want to be remembered as the kid who went down fighting and didn’t really lose.”

Zack Sobiech’s story has become a Disney+ movie and deserves to be seen and heard.

Zach was truly an extraordinary guy. He fought a heroic battle against osteosarcoma until the end, doing what he loved most, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of family, friends, and all the people who still remember him today.

When he was only 14 he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He faced the disease with courage and patience but in 2012, despite the therapies he had followed and the surgeries he had undergone, the doctors told him that he had only 1 year left to live.

Zach did not give up and decided to become a testimonial of the fight against this terrible disease and against the adversities of life. His passion was music and he wrote a song, titled “Clouds”, which was released on YouTube in December 2012 and which became a global success by climbing the charts in several countries such as Great Britain, Canada and France.

Director Justin Baldoni dedicated a documentary to Zach called My Last Days: Meet Zach Sobiech which exceeded 15 million views on YouTube followed by another documentary one year after Zach’s death and, now, the movie.

Zach didn’t make it, but he still won. Thanks to his courage and his passion, a movement was born that continues to excite millions of people around the world. At the time of his death in 2013, the song “Clouds” had 3 million views on YouTube, today it has surpassed 20 million. The fund created in his memory has raised more than $ 2 million for osteosarcoma research. The rights to the book written by Zach’s mom were acquired by Warner Bros and became the movie “Clouds” released October 16 on Disney +.

Thank you, Zach for your testimony and for your message.
